Hold a piece of the Earth’s mantle in your hands. Walk a sheep’s path to the edge of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Raise your eyes to the top of the ancient cliffs in Western Brook. Glide your paddle through the waters of Bonne Bay. We’ll explore the best Gros Morne National Park has to offer in this 3 day experience-from the awe-inspiring UNESCO World Heritage sites to the down-to-earth traditions of our people and Indigenous Ancestors.

Day 1: Tablelands & Gros Morne South: Walk on the Earth’s mantle and learn about the geology of the Tablelands. Visit the Discovery Centre in Woody Point and explore the town of Trout River, its new Blue Whale mural and Eastern Point trail.

Day 2: Big Canoe & Cultural Campfire Experience: Join an Indigenous guide in our Big Canoe and learn how to glide along Bonne Bay working as a team. Try your hand at making fire and cook Lu’skinikin (bannock) over an open fire. Gather around the fire and learn how the people of Newfoundland and Labrador live seasonally.

Day 3: Western Brook Pond & Gros Morne North: Walk the beach to view cliffs 500 million years in the making! Visit Green Point, one of the main reasons Gros Morne National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hike a leisurely 3 km to Western Brook Pond for a boat tour in the ancient landlocked fjord.

Please dress for an outdoor experience, be prepared for changing conditions and check the daily forecast!

Itinerary Changes
Please keep in mind that weather may require us to change the scheduled itinerary of this tour. If we encounter high winds, fog and/or rain, we may alter the intended route and schedule to improve the tour and your experience. Each day will tentatively begin at 9:00am and end at 5:00pm.
